The Inline XBRL wiki

About this site

Inline XBRL is an idea conceived by CoreFiling (http://www.corefiling.com) to help solve issues associated with rendering XBRL. This wiki is a place to allow the idea to get discussed, tested and refined (or possibly rejected) and for a supporting specification to get written.

This wiki reflects the progress made by the XII Rendering Working Group in its work to develop a specification for Inline XBRL.

The contents of this Wiki have been donated to the XII Consortium by CoreFiling. Any further edits and contributions to this Wiki are the intellectual property of the XII Consortium.

Intellectual Property

It is our express intent that resulting IP associated with this initiative (ie: examples and technical materials) will become a contribution to XBRL International. Anyone that would like to collaborate on the specifics will need to agree that anything they contribute to this Wiki will also become a contribution to XII. Depending on the direction that this initiative takes, it is perfectly possible that the entire exercise will be shifted into the XBRL International environment. For the moment it is a public exercise being conducted for the express benefit of the XBRL community at large.
